Stufast.id - BIM Learning Platform

Stufast.id is a pioneering Building Information Modelling (BIM) learning platform developed for PT. Baracipta Esa Engineering. As the first dedicated BIM learning platform in Indonesia, it aims to bridge the skills gap in the construction and engineering industry by providing accessible, high-quality BIM education.

The platform offers structured learning paths, interactive courses, and practical exercises designed to help professionals master BIM technologies and methodologies used in modern construction projects.

Building Information Modelling is a complex subject requiring both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The challenge was to create an engaging online learning experience that could effectively teach technical BIM concepts to professionals with varying levels of expertise.

The platform needed to handle large video files, track detailed learning progress, manage certifications, and provide tools for both students and instructors to interact effectively in an online environment.

We developed a comprehensive Learning Management System using Next.js and React for a smooth, app-like user experience. The platform features progressive course modules with video lessons, interactive exercises, and assessment tools.

TypeScript ensures code quality and maintainability as the platform scales. The system includes detailed progress tracking, allowing students to see their learning journey and instructors to monitor student performance. We implemented a certification system that validates completion of courses and assessments.

The platform also includes a community forum where students can discuss concepts, share insights, and learn from each other's experiences, creating a vibrant learning community around BIM education in Indonesia.
